This ability brought me a unique friendship with the ghosts of five Dutch children.

I spent my days with Peter the jokester, the bickering best friends Hans and Hendrick, William and his gentle violin melodies, and the whimpers of the youngest, Janshen.

A life that is far from “normal” is the price I had to pay to be happy with them. And all that changed when our friendship required more in order to be with them forever.
